It’s no surprise that Pantone chose Emerald 17-5641 as 2013’s Color of the Year. Green soothes emotions and helps people to deal with change. Green is the color of sophistication, growth and prosperity. This color suggests a new time to heal, rebuild and begin again.
Emerald green is one of my favorites to use in my designs; it is perfect as a neutral color. I never hesitate to choose green when selecting materials such as carpet, walls, upholstery or draperies. It carries the mind’s eye to the outdoors, to nature and growth.
Your home is the frame for the picture that is “You.” Creating the correct frame enables you truly paint your unique portrait. You can start today by finding new beginnings in your home color, and when you want to create the feeling of sophistication, growth and prosperity, consider emerald green.
