Freshome today has some beautiful renderings of a modern Los Angeles apartment.  What is truly unique here is the mixture of colors and textures, and how well this eclectic mix comes together.  From their article:

As if trying to capture the colorful atmosphere of Los Angeles, the project designers envisioned a place filled with powerful vibes. The core of this elegant house is an open plan living and dining room, personalized through a bold color palette, striking contrasts and use of texture. Black and white walls set the tone for a stylish living venue. Silver circle patterns add a touch of playfulness, while the wooden floor and TV cabinet bring warmth. Generously-sized windows flood the interior in natural light during the day, enhancing the feeling of space.”
